Song of the Forest
Song of the Forest was created by artist Wang Wen-Chih. The main design is inspired by ancient giant trees and rails of Alishan trains, showing a noble and magnificent look. Wood, rails and stones are provided by the Forestry Bureau. The golden sunlight shines on the copper braided dome. At night, the moonlight and starlight change the color. The beech and juniper floors inside the main structure have the aroma of phytoncides. The enveloping shape with openings reveals the view of the wilderness. Visitors stepping into the facility can experience the imagination of stepping into clouds on top of Alishan.
