“I am artree(art tree), a tree nurtured by art. My roots can transmit radio waves, carrying meaningful messages away."

Last year, Chiayi Art Museum in its "Art Broadcasting Program On Air" project deployed a broadcasting truck to go around the city, bringing Chiayi's humanistic values closer to our contemporary life. This year, here comes the Season 2! Hosted by Compound Ears Studio, sound artist Feng Chih-Ming will be the host of the new project "Moving Broadcasts", with two contemporary artists who are very familiar with Chiayi area: Chang Yun-Hang and Ni Xiang as the programme planner and host. Local narratives beyond the ordinary artistic narrative perspective are embedded in this year's programmes. By transforming the visual museum tour into an audio experience, it becomes a more mobile message carrier: audience can immerse themselves in this audio experience even during commuting or at work, or when they are walking around in the museum.

Season 2 "Moving Broadcasts" inherits the concepts of Chiayi broadcasting truck in its openness, wide dissemination and publicness. Using the initials of Chiayi, Art and Broadcast to link with CAB, the project involves the experience of taking a cab, in which the driver often turns on the radio broadcast with talk show or music channel on - such dissemination of messages is spontaneous yet far-reaching. "Moving Broadcasts" aims at rolling out 12 episodes online, featuring insightful discussions with different curators on exhibition themes and related topics, as introductive or extended discussions for the exhibitions. The programme plan will use the creations of individual artists and their life experience as the axis, leading the audience to understand the exhibition themes and the artists' inspirations. Moreover, special programme plan will record and incorporate unique creative concepts with local meanings, allowing the audience to approach the same time and space and enjoy the synesthetic experience through hearing.
